Me and Chris were married!!!! I can't believe how one year went so quickly. I remember the day and how excited I was.**You may wish to skip this part, I just thought it would be fun to recount that day.** I got up pretty early and went and got my hair done, then went back to my fam's hotel and got ready to go to the temple. I remember walking in and getting checked in and Chris poked me from behind and scared me haha! Our sealing went so quick, but I remember feeling so extremely happy and peaceful knowing I would be with Chris for all eternity. After I got changed in my wedding dress we took a BILLION pics. They were watering the grounds that morning so that made my shoes puncture the ground and get the bottom of dress so dirty. We then took pictures in the pretty red bluffs of St. George. My mom carried the back of my dress as we hiked up the small mountain and I was in flip flops! Oh what we do for pics. Chris carried my flowers and other shoes. By that time everyone was on their way back to Vegas for the reception. Me and Chris changed and had lunch and were the last to arrive at home. Chris dropped me off at my house and everything was crazy! My mom and sisters hurried home to set up everything for the reception. They had to come home and change and get me! We rushed back to reception and I got changed. We then took more pictures before the guests arrived and had fun driving the golf cart to get around the golf course for more pictures! Phew! Our reception went by so quick. My dad sadly had a diabetes emergency and had to go home, I was so sad but he looked and felt terrible. We talked to everyone and finally got to sit and enjoy the party! The food and cake were yummy and me and Chris danced our first dance. I loved our reception, I just wished it lasted longer! My mom really did an amazing job and was busy the whole time directing people where to go and helping everyone. She added so many extra touches in the banquet hall to match our colors. From the arrangements on the tables, to the pictures of us everywhere, to the thank you table and favors, and sign in table, she really deserves a shout-out! I just wish I saw her more! In the end it was an amazing day full and friends and family. We were so blessed that day and appreciate everyone who came/helped!!! Here's to many more years to come :)
